Frequently asked questions

  • Do you offer click and collect?
    Yes, we offer a collection option. Simply select “I’ll pick it up myself” in the shipping options at checkout.

  • Are you on social media?
    Of course! You can find us on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

  • My spider won’t feed, is on its back, or hasn’t come out of its hide—should I be worried?
    This is often a sign that your spider is in pre-moult. This can be a stressful time for them, so it’s best to leave them undisturbed. Spiders commonly stop feeding and may block the entrance to their burrow during this stage.

  • I already have an order waiting to be shipped but want to add more—can I do that?
    No problem! At checkout, select “Deliver/Ship to my address”, enter your details, and on the next page choose the option to add to an existing order. As long as your original order hasn’t been dispatched, we’ll combine them.

  • I’ve just received my spider—when should I feed it?
    We recommend waiting a couple of days before attempting to feed your spider.

  • Do you ship outside of the UK?
    Unfortunately, we currently only ship within the UK.

  • How much is shipping?

         Next day delivery (by 1PM): £12.00

         Prices apply within the UK and include a heat pack during colder temperatures.

  • What days do you ship? Can I choose a delivery day?
    We ship Monday to Thursday. We do not dispatch over weekends to ensure the welfare of the spiders. If you need a specific shipping day, please contact us and we’ll do our best to arrange it.

  • Do you ship all year round?
    Mostly, yes. However, we may pause shipping during extreme cold conditions (below 3°C overnight) or during our annual holiday. Please check the website for updates.

  • Do you offer sexed tarantulas?
    Yes, we offer males, females, and unsexed specimens. These are clearly labelled wherever possible. If you’re unsure, feel free to ask.

  • Can you hold or reserve stock?
    Unfortunately, we are unable to reserve stock without full payment.

  • Can tarantulas be tamed or handled?
    No. Tarantulas are wild animals and cannot be tamed. They rely on instinct and may bite, even if they appear calm. We do not recommend handling.

  • My tarantula has lost a leg—will it grow back?
    Yes, lost limbs can regenerate over future moults.

  • Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG)
    In the unlikely event your spider arrives deceased, please contact us immediately via email, Facebook, WhatsApp, or text with photographic evidence.

  • Do you offer trade or wholesale pricing?
    No, we do not offer trade or wholesale pricing.

  • Can I buy in bulk for resale?
    No. Our stock is for retail customers only and is not supplied for resale.

  • Can I purchase mystery boxes to sell on?
    No. Any orders placed for resale purposes—including mystery boxes—will be cancelled.

  • Can I cancel my order if I change my mind?
    Yes, cancellations are possible. Please note that a 5% admin fee will be deducted from your refund.

    We always do our best to size spiders accurately, but occasional discrepancies can happen. If you have any concerns, please contact us and we’ll do our best to resolve the issue.
