Product Details
The Chaco Golden Knee is a proper classic and for good reason. Native to the Gran Chaco region of Paraguay and Argentina, they’re a large, beautifully marked tarantula with those gorgeous golden bands running across the legs.

They’re generally calm, slow-moving and very forgiving, making them a great choice for newer keepers. They can reach around 15–18cm as adults, although females can sometimes grow larger.

Care is nice and straightforward. Aim for around 21–27°C and 50–70% humidity, with good ventilation, a water dish and a terrestrial setup with plenty of floor space. They don’t need a constantly damp enclosure and are quite happy with mostly dry substrate.

A big, hardy and generally very laid-back tarantula that makes an excellent display animal.
